Training and research have been integral to Unison's journey from the beginning.
Medical care cannot remain static. What we know today must constantly be questioned, studied and improved.
Unison has been involved in clinical research, teaching and training across HIV, tuberculosis, antimicrobial resistance, sexually transmitted infections and other infectious diseases.
We have worked with doctors, healthcare professionals, students and institutions in India and internationally, sharing knowledge and learning from different healthcare settings.
Our research grows from questions that arise in everyday clinical practice. The patients we care for often help us ask better questions, and research helps us find better answers.
We also believe in taking scientific knowledge beyond academic circles and making it understandable and useful for patients, healthcare professionals and the wider community.
