Adult Medicine

Whole-person care for common, complex or unexplained medical concerns in adults.

This page is for you if…

  • You have symptoms that keep coming back and nobody has explained why
  • You are managing several health problems and want one doctor to see the whole picture
  • Your reports were told to be normal, but you still do not feel well
  • You want a second opinion before starting long-term treatment
  • You are due for a general check-up

Adult Medicine looks at the person as a whole. We care for adults with common medical problems as well as more complex or unexplained symptoms. We help bring together different symptoms, test results and medical conditions to arrive at a clear plan.

This approach is particularly useful when symptoms do not fit clearly into one diagnosis or when several medical problems need to be considered together.

Your visit

What to expect.

  1. 01

A conversation first. The doctor listens to your history, symptoms and worries.

  2. 02

An examination and, if needed, tests done at the centre the same day.

  3. 03

Your doctor explains what was found, in plain language, and what it means for you.

  4. 04

You leave with a clear plan and follow-up arranged, so you know the next step.

Who you may see

Senior doctors, not a revolving door.

You will be seen by one of our senior doctors. If you would like to see a particular doctor, say so when you call.

Questions people ask.

Should I bring my old reports?

Yes, if you have them. Prescriptions, test reports and scans help the doctor see how things have changed over time. If you do not have them, you are still welcome.

Will I need tests on the day?

Only if your doctor thinks they are needed. Common blood tests, ultrasonography, X-ray and ECG are available at the centre, so you do not have to travel elsewhere.

My problem may not be an infection. Is this still the right place?

Yes. Adult medicine is for common, complex or unexplained medical concerns. If something needs a specialist we do not have, we will say so and help you decide where to go next.
